I do not know the specifics of that device. The one thumb drive works with android or apples depending on which side you place up. I have also seen thumb drives one can stick into their phone's data port to transfer pics/music. The idea with it is, you connect your phone to the Connect wifi(yes the thumb drive has wifi)and use an app on your phone(android or apple) to transfer photos or music to the thumb drive. I also have a Sandisk Connect, that I have been happy with. That is in case a hard drive failure on one of the two backups or I lose my phone. So my system creates 2 backups of my phone pics. I then have bvckup 2 to copy that folder to another. I have it set to send new pics to a networked folder when my phone connects to my house wifi. It is free but I donated to the author once I really liked the app. I had to run a recovery app to get some of them back.Īs far as an android phone. I had ITunes wipe out pics/movies and my wife lost 1500 pictures with them. I will try to answer to the best of my ability. If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask. SO it isn't a solution that I've ever entertained. I also have a bad internet connection with horrible upload and download times. I've synced some to Google drive but no service offers the amount space I'd require for movies. The back up location would need to not be hidden though. Now in a case like you might be trying to do, you could set your computer to back itself up(with Windows or another back up program), and then bvckup 2 would copy that back up to another drive(as in an external drive). So if one or the other fails, I don't lose a drive worth of movies. ![]() My X: drive is a bigger and newer drive but you hopefully get my point. When I place a movie in that folder(Ex: on P: drive), it copies it to another folder(Ex: X: drive)as a one to one copy. I use it to monitor my movies folder for example.
